For the Audience
Since 2011, our award winning and highly acclaimed productions haven broken through the barriers of what is considered youth theatre to create an entirely new genre of stage entertainment. Our works, which feature all youth performers, attract an array of audience comprised largely of adult theatergoers as well as typical family and youth audiences. The mix of original content, works from the modern American canon, Shakespeare and even first run original musicals has lead to Fun House growing a following among critics, industry professionals, hardcore theater patrons and families.
For Our Actors
Young actors involved in our program learn in a production environment working only with industry professionals to create high quality stage offerings. Wether it is getting the opportunity to work on original, first run productions with the playwright or tackle truly challenging material from published works that are not thought of as youth fare, Fun House Theatre and Film gives students the opportunity to learn in an atmosphere that is not geared toward simply participating in the arts but in learning the craft of acting. Our audition only productions, teaching methodology, tight production timelines and professional atmosphere create an immersive experience into stagecraft and an intensive environment for youth serious about entering the acting profession today or in the future.

Get a Life (All Sales Final) by Jeff Swearingen.
In this existential tale, written and directed by Jeff Swearingen, a salesman for life attempts to sway a potential customer by taking him through the various packages and fine print details of living as he attempts to close a deal for the journey of a lifetime. An all youth cast takes the stage in this absurd, comedic and often poignant examination of the age old fundamental questions of existence.
